Initial round of interview was with HR. They talk about the position. requirements and salary, benefits to ensure it's a good match. If we pass this screening, we're expected to attend an in-person interview with the Lead and Manager.

The interview process was more of a standard technical interview. Been through 3 rounds HR, Tech, and managerial. The surprising thing is after cracking all of them and being offered a position with an offer letter and a start date given which was signed by me, they came back saying they don't have the budget currently and had to put the role on hold.
This was a crazy experience as I had terminated my existing lease and put in papers for the employer to move to Hobsons and in the end, they come up with an apology as simple as "Unfortunately, the position was just eliminated for reasons that are strictly financial. There is no other reason. It has nothing to do with your personal or professional credentials. We will not be filling the position at all."
Never have I ever had such a strange experience in my life. I had to redo so many things after they came back with this news. Probably I wouldn't interview again with them.

Had a phone interview with someone who was looking to get a candidate, to be on his side. It didn't look the position I applied for was in the same vertical as this interviewer. Had to take a phone interview instead on in-person due to his unavailability. Asked one question, when he didn't get the answer he wanted, he ended the interview abruptly. It lasted no longer than 10 mins.
