Entrevista
I was encouraged by their hr to apply. Strangely the e-mail was in Russian - and I am not a Russian. Happening that I know a bit of it I responded and we made arrangements for the first round of interviews.
First interview was quite literally the weirdest thing I have ever experienced on any interview.
I got a link to Google docs and instructions not to use any external tools. There were two tasks that needed to be solved. If I remember correctly one was a SQL query and other was to fix a function that was corrupted in some way. The work in google docs was super strange and felt just odd. I believe they wanted to track the work trough google docs history but it really felt super wrong.
I was really under impression that I did a good job, but after submitting the task there was a period of complete silence. After a week or so, I reached out but the recruiter excused themselves due to the new year in Israel. Another surprise but I learned something new.
Day after that I got negative response because "Unfortunately the answer you gave is not the answer we are looking for. " . That was actually the first message in English that I received. I did want to ask why but the whole correspondence with recruiter was English - Russian and since my Russian was not good enough and since the recruiter never even tried to type English I did not bother to ask for clarifications.
All in all quite weird interview, and I believe that I just was not assessed good enough but c'est la vie.

Was contacted through an Hola recruiter and encouraged to apply. I said I was interested and we set up a time for the interview. I tried to call her at the time of our appt but she didn't answer and replied on email saying that the first stage did not involve any phone calls and was just the google doc. She sent me a google doc with questions at that time.
There was 2 questions on the google doc, one was to write a regex function and the other was to optimize a string related function. I was told not to use any outside resources or run the functions in the console. I didn't, but I'm pretty sure most people do since the questions are generic and easy to look up. I asked the interviewer how they deal with this exploit during the test and if I should add any comments or if the developer reviewing my function was watching me type the functions out, but was told "I'm just HR, not technical, but the developers at hola are very good at assessing JS skills"...bizarre.
One of the oddest and least sensical interview processes I've ever had.

It's an online coding session, the interviewer sent a google document to start the session. The timing is 20 minutes to complete, I then start to do the question. Then the interviewer left the group chat before I finish (It is < 20 minutes). I tried to send an email indicate I have done with the coding, the interviewer came back and remain silent.
