This process was very long and drawn out. Upon being contacted by the recruiter, I had to constantly follow-up on status, next steps. Once an interview was scheduled it was for an hour. The two interviewers didn't properly go over the responsibilities of the role, instead wanted to know what I knew about Holman and reviewed my background/experience. I left the interview on a high and thought it went really well, but felt incomplete since they didn't cover the duties of the role or what they were looking for. I realized afterwards I should have asked at the end, however, I was focused on asking the questions I had prepared. I'm then told it would be a few weeks to get through the process for a decision. I waited 3 weeks with no follow-up from the recruiter until I followed up, which then I received the rejection as they needed someone who better met their qualifications. Well you know a candidate doesn't meet the qualifications after an interview - let them know...don't drag it out. In my opinion, their interview process seemed very unprepared and they need to do better preparing and also recruiting needs to be more transparent with their candidates. Perhaps this is just a little insight to how their internal processes are conducted.
