I have interviewed for this company twice in the past year and have been qualified for the position, prepared for the interview, and genuinely excited for it but each time was such a disappointment. Hiring managers were late both times, and then acted like they would rather be anywhere else in the world. I understand being neutral for the sake of the interview, but the last person I interviewed with was so bored and borderline rude that it bummed me out so much. Then to top it all off at the end of the interview, the interviewer tells me that they “pretty much hire based on good vibe and whether or not you’re likable.” At that point, I had to laugh.
