The interview was a complete waste of time. They had 5 long rounds, in which every person asked the exact SAME questions (could have just had a panel discussion instead). After the final HR round, they did not even have the courtesy to reach out. The HR person ignored my calls and emails, after informing me that she would get back with the CTC and offer. My email was addressed to the HR recruiter from Bangalore who had contacted me, and her senior, both did not bother to respond. I have interviewed at multiple places, but no company has ever had such a disgraceful manner of conducting themselves. A colleague of mine had a similar experience at homelane. This experience was during the peak of the pandemic, and thankfully, I still had a secure job to hold on to. I would sincerely urge people to think twice before wasting your time and energy on a company such as Homelane, as there are far better (and more ethical) companies to apply to, that will have a more fruitful outcome.
