I spent 30-45 minutes writing those answers up which they could have easily been asked on the phone, only to find out they are not moving ahead with my application.
Posting this here just as a heads up for someone who might apply here. Time is precious, I hope someone from their recruitment team sees this message and act wisely in future.

- Can you tell me about your current job and what's is your day to day activity?
- How much time do you spend coding in your current role?
- Explain briefly about your current product/platform and its design and architecture of it?
- What were the tools and technologies used in build current product/platform you worked?
- Tell me a bit about your background in so and so technology
- What are the three most important attributes or skills that you believe you would bring to our company if we hired you?
- What do you know about Hortonworks and Tell me about one Hadoop component of HDP you really like, and why?
- What’s your proudest achievement? It can be a personal project or something you’ve worked on professionally. Just a short paragraph is fine, but I’d love to know why you’re proud of it.

Entrevista
My Profile was shortlisted by Hortonworks recruitment team.
I was interviewed for Software Security Engineer profile. There were three rounds of technical interview through Skype. One with Staff Engineer in Bangalore, Senior Manager and Director in US.
There was an on-premise interview where i was interviewed by one of the PMC member. Interview Schedules were well planned by the recruiter and was approachable throughout the process. Whole Process was completed in 2 weeks of time(from the time i got a call till getting the offer letter).

Entrevista
First I had to do a 100min long hackerrank test, with standard questions.
The interview felt more like an interrogation than a conversation, never once did the interviewer ask what I am looking for or what motivates me. He only managed to talk about the position after I asked him.
