I have always held HSS in the highest regard and when encouraged to apply to one of their vacancies, I did so with great enthusiasm. Overall, my interview experience was positive - the interviewers were welcoming, engaging, and transparent about the role, reporting structure and expectations. I was even asked to submit my questions in advance of my final interview... So, in the final rounds I did not expect a shift in demeanor... their communication was delayed and somewhat awkward - not what I was expecting.
