The recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn two weeks ago even though I am currently employed, I thought it wouldn't hurt to just go ahead and interview. I had a phone screening with the recruiter last week and the overall process was a mess. The recruiter wasn't knowledgeable about the role and didn't have answers for some of the basic questions that I asked them. The recruiter informed me that there will be several rounds of interviews, 5-6 to be exact and I thought that was absolutely ridiculous. The recruiter then proceeded to say that it was exciting. No one in their right mind would find that exciting. That was a red flag in its own. The recruiter told me they would send me an email later that week with the answers to the questions that I asked during the interview. A few days went by and I never received that so called email so I sent the recruiter a LinkedIn follow up message, but they never responded. I got ghosted by a recruiter for a job that I didn't even care to have, it was a humbling experience. The job market is tough right now folks.
