Having already applied and submitted writing samples, I had a 45 minute interview in a tearoom in Westminster with the MP and his senior assistant. Three base questions that led to further questions from my answers. Then a general chat about what my interests.

Good experience, important to be politically aware and aware of the MPs constituency. Need to be very interested and aware of current events and news. Should take some time to do research ahead of the interview.

Smooth, lots of communication. Was given an hour long task and then the interview was between 30 and 40 minutes. Everyone was really friendly and happy to answer any of the questions that I prepared. I was interviewed by a panel of three including the MP.
