I showed them conceptual videos I created myself and received approval from my direct manager and my manager's manager to proceed with experimenting with content on my personal social media with a built-in beauty audience of women primarily ages 18-30, with the intention of showing the CEO a proof of concept if proved successful. The concept went viral. The Manager went on leave, I had no direct report for a few days and was left to manage myself, the Manager's Manager quit, and HR shut it down.
