I said that in my internship (which was selling insurance), that I felt more comfortable cold calling than I did reaching out to my warm market. I said that I like to do things for myself, so I felt that when I was reaching out to my warm market that I had to small talk and felt as if I were asking people for a favor in meeting with me. On the other hand, when I cold called people or reached out to referrals I was able to be more transparent about the purpose of the call and intent of our conversation/meeting.
