LISTEN to the resident. EMPATHIZE with their situation. APOLOGIZE for the inconvenience. PROBLEM-SOLVE to try to resolve the issue asap. Also, if necessary, take notes so others can follow up if the situation escalates and you are not available. Camden has an acronym, “LE.A.P.” Very impressive if you throw that in there.
