My experience with HHMI’s hiring process was not positive. After I submitted my application, several months passed before HR reached out. After the hiring manager interview, the process again moved very slowly, with limited communication and no clear timeline. At the same time, I was also planning to withdraw. Soon after, I received a rejection email saying that they had tried to contact me but were unable to reach me. That was surprising, because I had not received any missed calls, voicemails, or emails from them. The overall process felt slow, disorganized, and poorly communicated.
