Interviewed for the Gauss DB team in Canada. Learned about the job from a recruiter. Easy OA, two rounds of technical interviews. First round was easy. Just implementing a hash table with linear probing (using tombstone for delete). Interviewer was a junior member of the team, created a friendly and stress-free environment. Funnily, second round was also about hash table and optimizing for multithreading. Interviewer was unresponsive and silent, long pauses after every answer, created a pretty stressful and non-interactive environment.

They gave an OA first on TestDome and the test tested SQL and C++, then 1st round 1 hr interview just technical questions. Onto second round now, another 1 hr interview.
