      Entrevista

      First up was a phone screening, at the end of which I was told I would be moving on, though not for a little over a month because there was a start date between when I initiated my application and when I would be available to start work. Super pleasant, super conversational, and lots of transparency. Next up was a phone screening with someone in a manager role, which was also laid back with no especially hard-hitting questions. Immediately following that I did a product demo via Zoom, and the materials I had been sent to help me prepare for this allowed me to proceed without too much difficulty. It's probably best to spend some time just playing around in the software beyond what you need to do to complete the three tasks you're sent in advance, but they don't expect you to be an expert. The next day I got a call that I'd be moving on to the last round, which consisted of three Zoom interviews. I also got useful feedback from the last round to help me succeed in the final round. These last three interviews were scheduled a few weeks out, which again was just because I applied months before I could start and there wasn't a rush to get me through the process. They were all really conversational and the interviewers were all incredibly honest about their experiences at HubSpot and what to expect from this role. After these interviewers I was re-sold on life at HubSpot, and 2 days later got a call saying they were extending me an offer. All in all, this was an extensive interview process given the position, but it was as pleasant as an interview process can be and loaded with feedback and reliable communication.

      It is a 5 step interview process, with the 1st one being a phone screening, then a video call/interactive assignment, and then finally three 30 minute back to back interviews for the 3rd and final round.
