3 rounds of interview. One call with recruiter, then call with design leaders, then in-person interview with product manager, engineers, design exercise, and then a final chat with recruiter. Overall the experience was fine.

After handing in my CV I had a recruiter reaching out for an initial interview. It clearly stated that there is no preparation needed for this round. Recruiter call was on the phone and quite impersonal with a standard script. The recruiter provided all the basic information you would expect from a call like that so I got a clear picture of the set up, team and company. I was then asked to walk them through a project of mine which came as a surprise, considering the ‘no preparation needed’ statement on the invite. Overall friendly call but please be more upfront what you’re expecting of candidates during this interview.
