*offer was rescinded*
Applied online, spoke with a recruiter who was friendly, not the most professional but professional enough. Booked a 2nd interview which involved preparing for a mock disco call with a specific prospect persona, grading yourself, getting feedback, and reattempting any parts. Moved onto the 3rd and 4th interviews which were 1 hour interviews to test on "attributes deemed important", 3 attributes per interview. Interviews mostly just overlapped and the last interviewer didn't even know where I was in the interview stage... received a call the next day that I was moving onto the next steps, provide references and would be getting more formal details later in the day. Provided references, due to an error in the system they use (which is unlikely but possible), it flagged them as fraudulent. Offered to immediately have her call the references at numbers provided, offered additional references, was told she would "dig into it" and didn't hear back for several hours. Eventually told my offer was rescinded due to MY "lack of transparency". Again explained they were not fraudulent, that they'd been called, I could set up video chats if needed, provide additional references, signed job letter, job letters and statements from my references etc. Only to be told that was not sufficient as she hadn't seen an error before, and rather unempathically tell me I could email her my concerns if needed. Hubspot loves to tout it's emphasis on transparency, but gave me no chance to explain, no benefit of the doubt, and callously disqualified me from a position I had put hours of calls into with them, over an arbitrary flag from an outsourced application.
