After completing an extensive case study and successfully passing that stage, I moved forward to the technical interview. During the interview, I answered all questions thoroughly and with confidence, and the discussion itself felt positive and aligned.
However, one week later, I received a generic rejection email without any form of personalized feedback or explanation.
The case study phase already required a significant investment of time and effort, where I demonstrated my technical and problem-solving capabilities in detail and the case study is actually suitable for further use for the company so that contribution was left not valued.
The technical interview itself went smoothly, with all questions addressed correctly and clearly.
Despite this, there was no constructive feedback provided at any stage following the final decision.
Transparent and respectful communication is a critical part of the candidate experience. Based on this experience, the process did not feel as communication-oriented as the company may appear externally in their generic social media posts.
The recruitment process included a very extensive case study that felt closer to a consulting-level deliverable than a typical product case. Candidates are expected to cover multiple areas such as product strategy, UX, monetization, analytics, technical considerations, and more — essentially producing a full product proposal across many sections.
While the problem itself is interesting, the scope is significantly larger than what is usually expected in a hiring process and requires a considerable time investment.
Additionally, the process lacks consistency and communication. After a short initial call, candidates are asked to complete a multi-day case, but there is often little to no follow-up afterward. Even a simple acknowledgment or feedback would significantly improve the candidate experience.

Entrevista
After doing a very comprehensive case study for 1 week, I was rejected by an automatic e-mail without receiving any feedback regarding logic, flow and strategy. Then, when I wanted to talk about my case process, I received feedback that the icons were "inconsistent" and the fonts were "inconsistent". The icons were from "fontawesome" and the fonts were from the design system :)
