Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 meses. Fui entrevistado pela Hulu (Seattle, WA) em out. de 2019
Entrevista
A very drawn out, emotionally exhausting, and disrespectful process that desperately needs to be changed. Absolutely no follow ups, no request for feedback, and overall disregard for candidate experience.
The process:
1. A recruiter reached out for initial screen - great
2. HM screen - great
3. 2-week ghost from the recruiter with 2 follow-ups- weird
4. Invited to interview onsite randomly after 2 weeks -great
5. Asked clarifying and prep questions to recruiter - 2 weeks of ghosting
6. Cluster F of an onsite - all interviews started late, no schedule, someone forgot to provide lunch so I went through 10 am-4 pm back to backs without food
7. Followed up to thank the team for meeting me- prize = 1 week of ghosting
8. Follow-up for update/feedback
9. Recruiter reaches out to say - still working on finalizing, expect a response in 2 days
10. 2 weeks later, they want another call with the hiring manager
11. Told to expect an answer the next week - and 2 weeks later, no word
Just avoid - worst candidate experience I've ever been
through, with complete disregard for my time.
Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Hulu.

Not hard at all; everyone was pleasant and no one asked hard questions. I got to the final round but I should have known why no one asked hard questions--they had layoffs and ended up hiring someone internally so maybe they knew that when they interviewed me. Disappointing because it was a waste of my time if that's the case.

Hard to get a hold of my recruiter who made me think they weren't interested so she wouldn't respond, got the impression that the process was quick and needed to hire but took way longer than she mentioned. If I'm not the right fit just let me know instead of me having to email you or ask my friend who referred me. I don't think she knew what the right answer was to her questions and se had trouble explaining to me the org and exciting projects. The PM's I spoke with seemed like they weren't aligned on what they were looking for and the structure has too many layers for my liking...big red flags for me. I don't understand how they treat people like this and I've since canceled my subscription based on this and wouldn't recommend to a friend interested in Hulu.
