Thank you for taking the time to come in and meet our team, as well as leave a review for us. We know the interview process can be nerve-racking and time consuming, and your feedback can help us keep the hiring process as painless as possible. I'd like to address specific notes in your review, and if you would like to discuss anything further, please get in contact with our HR Department.
As you know, some of our interviews do require higher level team members to be present, and at times there can be unforeseen events which may delay the interview. We are sorry this affected your time with us. We do take steps to prevent this from occurring, and will be reviewing our scheduling procedures to ensure we are giving our team enough time to prepare for the interviews, so that we don’t run into such delays going from one meeting to another.
Additionally, we know coming on-site for an interview can be inherently stressful. You mentioned that during the interview our team member shared a message on her phone with her colleague. Due to the seniority of the team members and the nature of working with proposals, it may have been regarding an urgent client request or update about a recent proposal. Sometimes urgent matters come up that have to be attended to right away. It is never our intention for our candidates to feel disrespected -- we know that our teams define who we are and what we do. We're able to produce great work because our teams are made up of great people, and that you were invited in for an interview tells me you certainly have great qualities.
In this instance we did not follow-up with an offer, but that does not reduce the time or effort that was involved on both sides in the application and interview process. We will take this feedback and use it to improve the interview process.
