The initial interview went well. It's true that they don't require your camera to be on. They started by asking questions about my college days, then moved on to questions related to the role I was applying for. It was a pretty relaxed interview with no pressure. It felt more like I was speaking with a recruiter or headhunter who would later refer me to the hiring manager. I'm not sure what the next step is, but it definitely gave me the impression that it's a Chinese company.
