Quick and casual. Very welcoming and great intro to the culture. I loved the candid conversation and the interviewees seemed interested in how i fit the culture as well as how i would perform.

Quick interview process, single interview. 6 individuals of varying positions in the firm were present for my interview. Questions were mostly related to the length of time and experience with my previous firm.

Phone screening to go over basics. Everything went fine until she asked about my timeline, and I brought up my immigrant status. She then felt she had the right to tell me I should not leave my employer, that I should be "grateful" for their sponsorship and "stay loyal" to them. The employer I was trying to leave at the time was extremely toxic and emotionally damaging. Immigrants do not need to be told how to live their lives and how to feel their emotions. It is the very notion that immigrants should be "grateful" that makes this society so toxic. Everyone has the right to leave an employer if they're unhappy. The woman who screened me was extremely judgemental, ignorant, and patronizing. Reflects very poorly on the company.
