The talent Acquisition Manager reached out to me and we had a lovely 40 minute phone call. From then, two weeks later I was brought in to meet with the girl currently in the role for about a half where afterwards she showed me around the building. Then two weeks later I was brought into a 3 hour panel interview which was quite extensive especially considering this role was a step backwards in my career. The interview although long, drawn out and extensive went well but then radio silence for almost 3 weeks despite multiple follow up emails. By the time they got back to me I had told them I accepted another role within another company and they told me that it was okay because they decided to forward with another candidate anyway. It would have been nice to know what was going on from the beginning rather than waiting and almost loosing out on my other offers. Also it made me feel like they were going through the motions and wasting my time.
