A recruiter found my resume and called me for some minor details. The next step was to set up a written test for evaluating my editing skills, followed by an interview. The entire procedure was smooth and the recruiter was cooperative. I felt confident with my performance in the test. When the interview finally came around, it quickly became apparent that the interviewers thought they were hiring me for a different role altogether. Obviously, it ended in a disaster, and it felt bad knowing that so much of our time was wasted. Had it not been for the miscommunication, I would have loved to work here.

There is a grammar test (MCQ), followed by a written exam. If you clear both, you will be called for a face to face interaction. The interview questions are fairly easy and any person with a basic knowledge of English should have no trouble answering them.
