Candidatei-me online. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa ICW Group (Rancho Bernardo, CA).
Entrevista
First step was a phone screen that lasted about 30 minutes. Second was an on-site interview which necessitated travel across the country. Prior to that I was informed I would be taking a 10 minuted aptitude test. I met with the COO and a number of would-be colleagues/supervisors. The COO had no idea what role I was interviewing for, or who I would be reporting to. Nice guy, but seemed to have caught him off guard for some reason. The rest of the team were very amicable, didn't really ask many situational questions, more about my experience.
About a week later I was informed they wanted me to come out for a second interview and take another aptitude-type test. I was then flown out for another in-person that only lasted 2 hours and met with everyone I had already met with. This time they had more comprehensive situational questions...which easily could've been fielded during the first interview. Also met with the head of HR.
The decision to go with an internal resource for the role was decided 3+ weeks after; which was a clear indication they didn't really know what they were looking for.
Overall the process was easy, but took way too long for what the role really required. 3+ months from start to finish.

If you were to propose a solution to your manager and he did not agree, even though you knew it was absolutely necessary, how would you handle it?
