I applied online through their website and received a request for a phone interview in the following days. The Talent Specialist asked me a few general questions and explained their timeline upfront. Next, had a phone interview with a current coordinator in the NY office. Then had an in-person interview with the same person + 3 others. General questions and a small exercise. Throughout the entire process, everyone was happy to answer questions, chat, and were very quick to reply. I made it to the final round where I met 2 community leaders, but ultimately wasn't chosen. It was hard because of how well the interview process was, but got the chance to meet great people. They even scheduled time with me after to go over feedback, which is very very rare in today's world.

IDEO's interview process was one of the best experiences I've had in my entire professional career. I applied online, received an email invitation for a phone interview, which was followed up with an on-site interview about a week later. HR was clear, professional and very organized throughout the entire process. The team was professional, passionate about the work, smart and were just a really great group of people. I was able to get a sense of the company culture right away and although they work hard, they make a point to have fun as well, which was highly impressive. Keep up the good work!!
