The interview process at IGA Deli was pretty straightforward. I started by submitting my application online, and not long after, I got a call for a phone screening. It was brief, just a few questions about my availability and why I wanted to work there. Then, I was invited for an in-person interview. When I arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming, and the interviewer was friendly. They asked about my previous experience and how I’d handle certain situations with customers. I felt like they really wanted to know if I’d fit in with the team. After the interview, I didn’t have to wait long to hear back. I received an offer and was excited to join such a community-focused place. Overall, it was a positive experience that emphasized both skills and personality.

Casual and in person. Went to the store and had a conversation with the deli manager. Asked questions about me and what I liked to do (introduction type) and asked about previous customer service and food experience.
