GHOSTED by IHS Markit!!!! I interviewed for the data lake team in London. Initial 30min telephone interview, walk through CV and some technical python questions. What was meant to be a 2 hour f2f interview turned into 3hours. 30mins with a BA. Then another 30 with the tech lead and a 2 hour (1 hour pair programming, one hour of tech questions and CV walk through) with 2 developers. For the pair programming, the devs seemed more interested in their phones then pairing. Awful experience. With them randomly looking up and grunting and then back to their phones. There where lots of red flags, during this process. Couple of hours after the interview I was asked to take a call from a director in NY. All seemed to go well. I haven't heard back from the hiring manager at all.
