The professor from biotechnology department was very focused on my slip-ups on a small error i had made while the rest of my answer was correct. He held on to the one slip-up and the interview process went towards chemistry, which was a subject I was not confident with and even after mentioning it, he kept asking questions unrelated to my previous education and the department I was interviewing for

There was no interview. The selection was after the Iit jee exam. The overall experience was nice, I must say. The college gave a lot of opportunities for growth to me.
