I had applied for a lighting specialist position and after about 2 weeks I got an email saying that I wasn't being considered at the time, BUT 2 days later I received a phone call from the lighting department manager asking if I was still interested in the position, to which I was extremely excited and surprised about lol. I went in and filled out another application. After that I went in for an interview, It was the manager and what I assumed was his associate or another manager, both of them were EXTREMELY polite, It really made me feel at ease through the entire interview. Basic questions consisted of "What do you know about our company (IKEA)" and other past work questions, how would you deal with x, how have you helped with x, what was the outcome of x, I got a call exactly a week later, went in for the drug test, and got the job!
