Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 1 dia. Fui entrevistado pela IMSCI (Stamford, CT) em fev. de 2018
Entrevista
I applied for a medical writer job 2 years ago while I was still working as a postdoc. I had an on-site interview but was not selected. Recently I was contacted by" someone" indicating they were interested in getting back in touch with me for opportunities. When I followed up I was informed that they had decided not to move on with my application before I had even submitted an updated resume which would have included 1 year working freelance a 1 year working at a med comms agency. I explained that I didn't understand how this decision was reached based upon a resume where I had no experience nor did I think it was fair." Someone" was kind enough to call me up to tell me that the recruiter had made a mistake in reaching out to me in the first place and further that I had performed poorly during the on-site interview and wouldn't even be considered regardless of 2 years of experience. When I asked for further information on where I had performed poorly I was only told that I didn't answer the questions "correctly" or that they didn't really get to know me not a good fit. She refused to elaborate or to give me any information I could use to improve. In essence she called me just to insult and demean me if she had no intention of offering any helpful information for me to improve. Also I learned later from former employees this is a terrible company anyway so their loss my gain.

I cannot recall exactly as it was from 2 years ago.
I think "how would your friends describe you?" was one.

Writing test with interviews. Interviewers showed up late and one did not show up at all. The people I spoke to who worked there seemed overwhelmed and frazzled; more than one admitted to not knowing what the job was when they interviewed.

If I was okay with being hired as an hourly worker vs a salaried employee since that's how they hire all of their writers?
