I was being considered for the Senior Consultant position.
I have 7 + years of Data Science/ ML experience where I lead and oversee a team of Data Scientists in my current role.
To start off, there are a lot of gaps in terms of HR scheduling the interview , to lack of clarity as to which role they are hiring.
I received the first HR round in November and later had no communication at all. Then all of a sudden in January they send me an interview invite without even letting me know which role they are hiring for and the Job Description.
In terms of the technical interviewer, I pity the way they conduct interviews as they still ask you to write machine compilable code in Teams chat window where the interviewer himself does not know the answers to a few questions. (Feels like we are still in stone age)
15 minutes in to the interview, I had clarity that I will not take up this opportunity even if I crack the interview as the people whom I'm supposed to deal with do not even have basic understanding and responsibilities of a Data Scientist.

The interview process was slow and quite drawn out. In total, I completed five interviews. The interviewers were lovely, and the questions were generally reasonable and not overly difficult. However, the process itself often felt unclear. For example, after my final-round interview, I was told I had received positive feedback and that they wanted to progress me to another final round. In that subsequent interview, I was told there may not be enough business in the area I had applied for, and asked whether I would be open to working in other areas, despite a previous interviewer suggesting they wanted me to specialise in a different area. Overall, I found the communication somewhat inconsistent and confusing. The process took around three months in total, which felt unnecessarily drawn out.
