A government security check and and fingerprinting was part of the application process. There was a lag of about three weeks before the final job offer was presented and I accepted the position.

Have to apply with USAjobs.com and wait for them to contact you. Once they do it’s a whole different process of stuff you have to do. But getting your first call with the Internal Revenue Service is the hardest part about the process. I waited about 1 year & 3 months
