The interview process was swift but intense. Interviewed at a direct hiring event put on by the service and had a six month process condensed into an eight hour day. The questions were all designed around different departments within the IRS and how you’d be a best fit. The hiring is based on merit more than anything.

Two interviewers, both supervisors, asked predetermined questions back-to-back. Interview was 30 minutes long and very little time to describe professional experience. Mostly technical questions and about one or two behavioral questions.
