Entrevista
Interview with potential managers. Both were very nice and had easy to talk with. However, not very responsive during the waiting period. I reached out to them since I did not hear back within the given timeframe, and did not get a response for a week and it came from someone else within the company.

I applied for the job via a job board. I had my first call with the director and another employee. The call went fine, and I was scheduled with HR for next steps, which I was happy to do.
At that point things went awry. The recruiter demanded that I have the interview at 5 a.m. to fit her schedule (um, no). Then, after absurd amounts of back and forth I was scheduled for a 30 minute call, which the recruiter joined 11 minutes late. The entire call lasted less than ten minutes, the questions were pointless, and it was an easy decision for me to decline moving forward with other interviews.
Most importantly, I should add that I applied specifically because this was listed as a remote position, but the recruiter told me I would need to relocate to be onsite in one of their offices.

Typical interviewing process. I actually had my first call with the director instead of HR. HR actually wasn’t all that involved with the process. Second round went well, at least I thought. I eventually reached out to HR after not hearing back (I was told they would reach within a week). After almost 3 weeks, I get a candid response that my skills aren’t the right fit. My previous role of 5 Years was doing exactly the same work and requiring the same skillset.
I’m finding that when you engage with companies like this, and all too common, there is a certain lack of empathy that usually carries over to employee treatment and eventually to the quality of work that the company brings.
