I had a machine that would not consistently print labels for the product. Other technicians had looked at this problem, but said it couldn't be corrected. I stayed with the equipment and monitored it checking inputs, wiring, outputs, and various other things. I finally noticed that a sensor was having inconsistent readings, I tried adjusting it first but still the same. Finally, I replaced the sensor and checked operation again. The intermittent problems went away, production time wasn't lost any more, and the team members were very happy that they didn't have to deal with this nuisance issue anymore.
