Three technical interview rounds, all face to face interviews at the IIT Bombay Campus. Technical questions were asked about the completed projects and previous work experience and also research experience.

There was a written test, top 20 selected for interview. Then there was a programming test and a python quiz. People who passed all were evaluated by a 5 professor panel who generally tested research aptitude.

It was nice, just be clear of your basics and give all answers with confidence. Work hard and enjoy the process. There would be a panel who would like to know more about your basic understanding of the subject rather than a particular specialization.
