A CBT was conducted across many colleges of Belgaum. The test comprised of Aptitude,Verbal and Data reasoning and Technical. The test was moderate and the technical section comprised of basic mechanical questions like IC engines, powerplant , cycles, refrigeration, and some manufacturing and design questions mainly on stress and strain.
Around 20 students were shortlisted for GD round. The round took place in teams wherein 10 students were called in for each round and 2 teams of 5 each were made and the discussion was to be between them. The topic given to us was to discuss on supply of water to cricket stadiums by Maharastra govt. in a time of famine where farmers were committing suicide. Was it correct or no. The two teams had to discuss and at the end of the discussion conclusion of each of the students was inquired.
So after GD, 10 students were shortlisted for PI.
The panel consisted of 4 senior members of the organisation and they told about the job profile and were specific that the job was not for Adani but for a merger between Adani and IOCL called IOAG private limited. The job was more of a onfield pipeline work maintaining job across North India.
After the Technical part was over in the interview they were interested to know if i would be OK to relocate to North Indian states. My answer was I said Family-decision. They looked little worried when i said that and wished me good luck and told to wait for the result.
