The entire interview process was carried out by the Accounting/Finance department in conjunction with the Engineering department. HR was not involved in the process. Both the phone screen and 1:1 in-person interviews (with 2-3 people) were done by Finance and Engineering. A presentation was required for the final round that I was not invited to. The questions were very Excel-oriented, in terms of skills and financial modeling experience. Be ready with a lot of detailed examples. There wasn't a focus on personality, but the people I met were outgoing and casual. There is a start-up feel in that the department does seem like they need a candidate who can deal with chaos and be willing to work outside the job description (ie finance in accounting or accounting in finance).
