Two interviewers involved and they asked quite a lot of questions about employees lay off or termination, they also asked if I have compliance experience. I suspect this company is not actively hiring for a HR Manager role, the job ad on LinkedIn was posted since Feb but now almost end of May, the job ad on LinkedIn is still active. Maybe they just want to hear from HR professionals of how to do employee termination, so that they can do it their own.
If they are really hiring for a HR personnel, maybe they need to change the existing Talent Acquisition person, obviously she doesn't have the capability to source right candidate.
