Interviewed with VP. Seemed like an interesting job, though the title didn't match the job description. Had a decent conversation. She was very knowledgeable. About a week later, I got an automated response that they were not moving forward with me. They even had the audacity to leave the "# reply above the line #" in the email. I was embarrassed for them and glad I didn't move forward, as it was definitely not the right fit.

I received a phone screening from a recruiter and was told how the team would definitely hire me. We scheduled a Google Hangout with the hiring team and they had me complete an assignment. Afterward, there was no clear communication. I had to constantly call/email the recruiter for the hiring status because it didn't add up that she sounded stoked for hiring me, and then she turns radio silent. When she did respond, she would always tell me she didn't know what's going on, she'll find out and I need to contact her at a later date. After a month, I gave up. From this hiring process, I get the feeling that this company lacks good communication and is incredibly unprofessional. Instead of playing games, why don't you just tell me I wasn't hired or that there wasn't enough in the budget to hire someone? It's not that hard to do since it's your job to tell someone they're hired or not.
