The interview had 2 technical rounds, 1 round with the VP and 1 HR round. I applied through LinkedIN. The recruiter called me in few days after that. The overall process was smooth & quick. The recruiter, interviewers & HR manager were all very friendly, humble and tried to learn what the candidate knows. Round-1: Questions on React, Java Springboot, Microservices, DB, Problem solving. Took around 1hr. Round-2: Questions more on backend stuff, DS & Algorithms, System design. Took around 1hr. Round-3: This round was with the VP and happened on same day of Round-2. He was a practical, humble and down-to-earth person & quick in making decisions. It was there for 45mins where he discussed about the technical challenges that they are trying to solve, the team culture, growth prospects and tried to know more about the candidate. This was one of the best interview experiences I ever had. Round-4: This happened on the next day of Round-3. The HR manager was a cool person who had a friendly conversation explaining the organization principles, near term goals, etc. The recruiter coordinated the process so quick & walked me through the benefits/compensation details on a weekend which is quite commendable. The VP ensured that I was safe during the pandemic and was reachable directly for any queries. I would highly recommend the opportunities at Informatica, Chennai.
