There was an aptitude test which consisted of two sections: 1. Logical section 2. Basic CS The logical section was simple, but the CS section was a little bit difficult. It mainly consisted questions related to OS, Networking, Java and algorithms. After clearing this round we had 5 rounds of interview. 3 technical, 1 managerial and 1 HR. The technical rounds mainly consisted of questions of OS(Unix scripting), DBMS(basic/complex queries), PL/SQL, Data warehousing, programs and puzzles. The managerial round mainly consisted of questions related to HR and also puzzles. Each round was an elimination round.

Did an on-campus interview with Informatica at IU. This went well. Basic interview questions to start with. Why would you be an ideal candidate? Tell me about a project the went wrong. and so on. Then there was a chance to ask them questions. I asked about things like the culture and the travel time. Do your research but dont be too nervous. Then I was asked to go to Chicago to do an onsite interview. They paid expenses. This was a whole morning process. There was 3 separate interviews. A rotation of sorts. They all asked general questions but then each had some interesting things to say. I had one rude and negative guy and two nice and pleasant guys. Not sure if this was a tactic on their part or an actual personality trait of that man. But the interviews went well. They called me 2 weeks later and offered the job.
