Refered by my friend who posted my profile. For about 2 months the status was 'under screening'. Since one division was screening the profile, it was not available to other divisions for 2 months. That was lost oppurtunity. My friend requested the HR guys to speed up the process. The status was changed to 'Short Listed for Interview'. Finally my profile was shortlisted and the HR fixed up a telecon. For some reason it got cancelled. It took almost a month to schedule another interview. The interview was telephonic and i was supposed to call a number along with passcode. And the number was not toll-free! There were 2 people taking the interview and both were not in sync at all. One guy was always interrupting the other and asking questions. At one instance the guy even remarked on call that "Why are you asking this question"??!?? Anyway, I did not fit into the role that they were seeking. Atleast that was made clear to me in the call itself. Other wise probably I had to wait for another 1 or 2 months for the result!

[a few more specific things] and what was your specific role in resolving the specifc error. I do not want general or vague answer ok? I want a very specific answer. Ok?

Checked basics of Java, OOPS. Asked to write basic code using Angular. Asked questions on system design. Asked questions on airlines domain as I had worked in airline projects. Checked about structured and unstructured databases.
There was no communication from HR after first interview. After multiple follow-ups there was no update. If its negative feedback , then also it needs to be informed. Very bad experience.

Interview Scheduling was pretty quick and technical round was good as well. However the HR communication was so Bad. I received a verbal offer that was less than what was discussed before technical interview. Upon asking for a revised offer, was asked to send an email and wait for Finance team to get back. Waited for a week and then was told that position is on hold. Still no response on the email asking for revised letter. Leaves a very bad taste for the candidates. You can either accept of reject a revised offer but why wait for a week and waste candidates valuable time where candidate is expecting revised/original offer letter. Btw revised offer letter was on par with original compensation discussed before interview, so nothing that was asked out of the blue. Almost felt like asking for revised letter is what caused the position to be on hold, candidate to be removed from the process. Infosys could do much better than that with communication process. Extremely unprofessional.
