The entire hiring process was highly unprofessional. After answering all the interview questions correctly, HR called me with an offer of X amount. Since the offer didn’t meet my expectations, I countered it, and HR told me they would discuss it with the panel. However, within just half a minute, they called me back and said I was underqualified for the senior role. Instead, they suggested hiring me for a junior position with a much lower salary than my current role. The way HR handled the communication was unprofessional, and I’m baffled at how they could make an offer without first discussing it with the panel. It felt disorganized and like a complete waste of my time.
