Entrevista
Not really an interview. We started by doing our 2 min presentations before a waste of time going over the Hotelplan brand and the resorts they operate in. The group task consisted of splitting into pairs and presenting back to the group on an assigned topic, but some were much easier than others. We then did a whole group task looking at the positives and negatives of the role, but the assessors took time to elaborate upon points offered rather than let us shine. We completed a written test and during this time the assessors decided who was going through and before we had finished the written test, sent almost all the group home without even taking the time to look at it. The day didn't give any time for individuals to shine, or take even a small amount of time to get to know us, and the decision on the few who went through seemed arbitrary. Not worth the trek and look for a company that actually takes the time to evaluate candidates rather than talk about themselves.

Entrevista
If you apply online you will receive a phone number to call by email to arrange your interview. The representative role interviews are held in their head office at Godalming, Surrey so be prepared to travel if you do not live in the south of England. Before you go to the interview for this role there is a pre-interview task that requires you to talk about an excursion in a resort that they operate in, video it and put it on YouTube before sending the video to the workaseason team. At the interview you have to provide your documents straight away including passport, driving license, eu health card, proof of national insurance and any relevant certificates. The interview starts with introductions including an introduction to the company, the candidates and talent finders. There is a group task which asks you to think about what may occur in this particular job role such as transfer day, what happens pre season as well as day to day. You then have to complete a written task in silence for 15 mins before the assessors take the papers and talk about who is not going to be accepted. At this point you can also ask questions before they make a decision to which they cannot tell you what you will be paid until contracts are given out, but explain a ‘package deal’ that takes accommodation, lift passes and insurance out of your wage so you don’t have to pay for that externally, however they like to drop hints throughout the group interview that you will not be paid much after that is taken out. They then split you up in to rooms, make you wait anxiously for 20 mins before they proceed to tell you what you didn’t do and letting you down by telling you you might be better in a ‘starter’ role. Anyone who gets through the written assessment goes on to have a numerical assessment to make sure you can “add up because a lot of people cant”.
