A recruiter set up a phone interview for me with their Directory of Engineering. I'm not local and they communicated to me through the recruiter that they would not reimburse any travel costs to come on-site later for an in-person interview if we proceeded that far. I thought I had a pleasant conversation, and discussed the duties in my current position as an Application Support Analyst, which included a great deal of software development, among other things. That's important to note, because interestingly enough, the only feedback sent after was that "there wasn't a good reason I'm not already in software development." ...Thanks?
