Short Story: Pyramid Scheme
Long Story: This place set off a bunch of red flags.
1. The receptionist was calling about interviews and applications the entire time I was in the lobby, so either they are trying to recruit as many people as possible or they have an extremely high turnover. Or both.
2. There were at least six other people that came into the lobby for interviews in the short time I was there
3. Jennifer talked so fast it was hard to digest everything she was saying.
4. I was not given any time to ask them questions
5. She wanted me to commit to start in two days. Right there. Without reviewing the application further
6. In all the other interviews, no matter what position you choose it all has the same outcome; Start by selling in a retailer for 2-4 weeks, then in 2-3 months you're already considered a manager, and in 9-12 months you could be an "executive" making 75-105k a year.
Pyramid scheme or not; the business seems very disingenuous and one that I would not want to work for.
