"Interview process: Waste of efforts, time. Job Title: Project Manager / IT Project Manager Rounds Conducted: Prescreening, Shortlisting, Technical, and HR Timeline: 1+ month The interview process started in early December 2024 and concluded by the end of the month. While the initial prescreening, shortlisting, and technical rounds were conducted smoothly, the conclusion of the process was disappointing. I was informed two days after completing the HR round that my application was rejected because I didn’t match their requirements. This was surprising, considering I had progressed through multiple rounds. If my profile didn’t align with their needs, it should have been identified earlier in the process. This experience felt like a significant waste of time and effort, highlighting inefficiencies in their candidate evaluation process. Companies should respect the time and effort candidates invest by ensuring alignment before initiating lengthy interview processes. Even after completing all the rounds, I was informed that my candidature doesn't align with their requirements. It was totally surprising what were they even doing before conducting all the rounds up to HR rounds."
