The first interview is more focused on general assessment of your qualifications and soft skills, while during the second stage interview you are expected to make a presentation based on a test assignment and showcase your hard skills

Met with someone, had a great interview, then waited. They send a bunch of emails saying they were still working on it. Then AFAIK they wiped the job due to funding issues.
